The
School of Management Studies (SMS) is
supported by the centralised Training and Placement Cell headed by Placement Director and a
team of placement officers.
Emphasis
is on developing the right orientation to the students’ right from summer
internships in the 1st year, Project work in the 2nd year
and Final placement towards the end of the programme.
Enough attention is paid
towards matching the students’ personality and strengths with the job opportunities.
Career counseling and hand holding is done by senior students, faculty members and career
experts during the Placement orientation sessions.
Pre-Placement
Training: MBA
Students are given Pre-Placement Training in order to sharpen their Aptitude
and Attitude. External Trainers are exclusively arranged on a periodic basis in Second semester and Third semester for this purpose.
Regular practice sessions and Placement Aptitude Tests are conducted to ensure better performance in the final selection processes.
